Veteran Highway ride

Today I was proud to participate in my 4th veterans highway memorial ride, I would estimate we had over 100 bikes some with pasengers, over all an excellent turnout. A lone OPP motorcycle officer provided the escort, thanks John for a job well done, much appreciated.

We started from Angelo's gas stop at the junction of the 416 and 401, the Ottawa and area units rv'd there to join up with those from the Kingston, Belleville, and Trenton area, we then proceeded enmasse to the memorial site at the junction of River Road and the 401, after the service we proceeded to the Pearly centre to say hi to the veterans and families there and to partake in their family day, rides were given to some vets and their family members by various members and a speech was given by Trapper followed by entertainment for the residents.

Thanks to Popeye and Cambrai unit for a well organized day and I am already looking forward to next year.
